Sumegha Arora is a highly skilled and motivated IT auditor with over five years of experience in auditing, analytics, risk assessment, and consulting. She is a CISA certified IT auditor and a recent graduate student from Syracuse University, where she honed her skills in management information systems. Sumegha has worked with various organizations, including NCM, JM Family Enterprise, MSF India/Doctors without Borders, and HCL Technology, where she gained practical auditing experience working on IT audits, ITGC and COBIT framework, agile methodology auditing, change management, ITIL, risk assessment, and software like ACL, Tableau, and TeamMate. Currently, Sumegha works as a Manager - Technology Risk at EY, where she is responsible for managing technology risk-related projects, including IT governance, IT internal audit, and IT risk assessment. She is also a SheLeadsTech Ambassador at ISACA, where she is working to increase the representation of women in technology leadership roles. Sumegha has a strong educational background, having completed her Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Syracuse University in 2019 and her Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology in 2014. She also completed her AISSCE 10 + 2 from St. Francis de Sales School in 2010. Sumegha is a driven individual who is passionate about using analytics for automating and improvising processes while doing internal or external audits. She believes that auditing is pivotal to all organizations and strives to use her skills to make a positive impact on the organizations she works with.
